Pauliina Martikainen‑Rahnu is a Managing Partner at Maki.vc. From deep tech to enterprise software and consumer applications, her investments have covered a range of categories. Currently, she is particularly keen on AI and the evolution of human experience at home, at work, and in-between.

Pauliina previously co‑founded Wave Ventures, Europe’s largest student-run VC firm behind Stockholm and Helsinki Founder Houses, backing young founders in the Nordics.

Pauliina is an active contributor to Europe’s and Finland’s economic policy dialogue and has i.e. served on the Room for Growth working group, appointed by Finland’s Prime Minister to to identify paths for national economic growth.

Pauliina holds an M.Sc. and CEMS MIM from Aalto University and HEC Paris, and a B.Soc.Sc. from the University of Helsinki. She has lived in Helsinki, New York, and Paris.
