Is your next career in venture capital? We’re looking for a new Office Manager & Executive Assistant to join the Maki House.

Our seed-stage venture capital fund, currently investing from fund II of €100M, is looking for a new team member to join our Helsinki HQ. We’re a tight knit team of eleven located in Helsinki, now looking for a highly organized and proactive Office Manager and Executive Assistant to join us on a full-time permanent basis. You will be at the center of running our daily operations and building relationships with our key stakeholders at all levels. Might this be you?

What you’ll get to do at Maki:

  • As the executive assistant to our Managing Partner - coordinating schedules and meetings
  • Organizing and managing both internal and external meetings, events and offsites
  • Supporting with our communication, marketing & community activities
  • Managing the overall office functionality and coziness by taking care of the office deliveries, purchasing consumables, etc.
  • Supporting with general administrative tasks and ad-hoc projects as needed

What we hope to see from you:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Finnish
  • You enjoy planning, organizing and taking responsibility, independently
  • Ability to prioritize as well as multitask when needed, with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Interest in startups and the Venture Capital industry
